TRAFFIC ALERT - SENECA ST. (NYS RTE. 79 WEST - BRIDGE OVER THE CAYUGA INLET) WILL REOPEN TO TRAFFIC AT 2:00 PM ON FRIDAY, JUNE 5, 1998. ALL REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED TO THE DECK SURFACE, AND WE ARE SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THIS MAY HAVE CAUSED.

TRAFFIC ALERT- THE NEW RTE. 89 (TAUGHANNOCK BLVD.) BRIDGE OVER THE FLOOD CONTROL CHANNEL IS NOW OPEN. PARK RD., AT THE RTE. 96 (CLIFF ST.) INTERSECTION, IS NOW A DEAD END STREET. ALL TRAFFIC TO CASS PARK, HANGAR THEATER, AND RTE. 89 NORTH MUST NOW USE THIS NEW ROUTE. ALSO, THE RIGHT LANE ON THE BUFFALO ST. BRIDGE OVER THE F.C.C. IS A RIGHT TURN LANE FOR PARK RD. ONLY. THRU TRAFFIC TO RTE. 96 (CLIFF ST.) SHOULD USE THE LEFT HAND LANE.

NOTE: Fulton St. (Rte. 13 Southbound) intersections at Buffalo, Seneca, and State Streets - Motorists should obey the NO TURN ON RED signs at these intersections. These were installed to prohibit vehicles from turning into oncoming trains. Also, the overhead flashing beacon warning lights have been activated at the above intersections to notify motorists of oncoming trains. The State St. bridge over the Flood Control Channel is now open to FOUR lanes; TWO eastbound and TWO westbound. Also, the STOP SIGN HAS BEEN REMOVED for eastbound traffic on Hector St. (ROUTE 79), at the Hector St. / Floral Ave. (ROUTE 13A) intersection. Floral Ave. traffic will still have a STOP SIGN.

NOTE: The Cayuga Inlet Trail is now OPEN along the west side of the Flood Control Channel from Floral Ave. to Cass Park. Also, the new stairway from the Cayuga Inlet Trail to Cliff and Hector Streets is now open.
